i hope it's not psychosomatic, although maybe it's because i've been watching house so much that i'm trying to become House, i've done that stuff when i was little, tryed to become other people by copying them, maybe that's all it is. It's a mix of a tingly-sharp shooting pain, right under my knee cap and upper shin initially, then spreads to where my whole knee area hurts. I massage my thigh muscle above my knee and it helps a lot, but it ends up hurting a lot at night, when i'm not moving, walking on it kind of distracts me from the pain. |

it sounds like you have patellar tendinitis. ice your knee 3xdaily, take ibuprofen if you need it. rest the joint, avoid heavy load bearing and kicking motions. if it's painful at rest, rest and ice alone may not resolve the problem. you may benefit from seeing a physio. |
