season finale next week

It's been a great season all in all, could be my favorite
depending on the finale. It started off a bit confusing but
got better and better every episode.

anyone else watching?

im watching.. i love it.
the time travel thing was almost a deus ex machina but a
brilliant one.. im really excited for the s05 finale and the
grand finale of s06.
its not just the finales tho but also the journey there..
locke has finally gotten reassurance that he was special,
and hes proven it now, which was good.

many great twists up till now, like how ben used to be the
one with all the answers and locke was confused, and now its
vice versa.

gonna be goood

Its the finale this weekend? That was quick! Looking forward
to it, i've enjoyed Lost all the way through, can't say that
about many TV programmes.

yeah 2 hours long, it's next wed here in the US.

Dr. Cheng schooling Hurley on current events last ep was one
of my favorite lul moments in the whole series.

"What year were you born?"
"uhh... 19..31?"
"you're 46?."
"uhhh.. yeah, I'm 46."
"you fought in the Korean War?"
"...theres no such thing?"
"who is the president of the United States?"
".... alright dude we're from the future."

It's been great, it just makes me more annoyed about the
massive waste of time in Season 2 and the first third of
Season 3, the whole thing should've been better paced rather
than bloated and padded at the begining then tighten up as
time runs out.

I nearly cried when I heard JJ Ab was gonna make the DT
films, but now I think he may do an ok job

Seems like he's experimenting for it in this series

JJ really doesn't have much to do with Lost at all
anymore... it's all Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. Damon
will be involved in JJ's Dark Tower adaptation if it gets
made though, it's been confirmed.

I don't think it should be made... DT is pretty unfilmable.
Maaaybe if Clint Eastwood was still in his prime..

season 2 was my least favorite as well... the character back
stories were getting a bit tired at that point and it wasted
a fair amount of time with pointless characters. Buuut even
so the air of mystery kept it watchable.

aye innit! Even my imagination struggled with parts of it!

I really wanna go through them again but I only have the
last 3 on me atm. Still don't understand why they havent
brought a box set out.

Always thought JJ Ab was a bit too "Clean" for a DT film. If
I had my say rodriguez would be doing it.

ben will kill locke (again, only this time the possessed
one) and will be lost's #1 good-guy by the end of the
series, leaving jack to wither in oblivion

i thought it was really good. Well see where it goes with
Locke... there's no question he's been possessed by whoever
that was at the beginning of the ep... but I'm still holding
out hope that there's some Locke-actual still in there with
him.

I don't know know what to think of the whole nuke deal. It
sucks we have to wait like 8 months to get answers.

My fave finale is still Season 3. "We have to go back!"

i completely agree. Season 5 has had a slow and confusing
beginning. But it's been getting better and better. Im at
episode 15 now.... Fantastic episode!!! Looking forward
to the end.

Looks like there is some kind of battle going on between
good and evil, between Jacob and his nemesis but I don't
think it will end up being that straight forward. So humans
are drawn to the island to be tested? Why?

Is Jacob really the force of good? Are they gods, angels,
aliens? Who is coming? Is Locke really evil smoke monster
now? How did the statue break? Is it just me or did Jacob
not seem to mind dying? Was it his plan to die all along for
some reason?

Is Juliet really dead? My favourite characters always seem
to die on this show :( Ana Lucia, Libby, Daniel Faraday...
real Locke is probably dead now.

So the nuke really went off, didn't see that coming... i'm
glad though as it would have been really predictable had the
incident happened as it should have.

The promo for season 6 has one of the characters eye
opening... could it be the island transports them to present
time so they avoid being killed by the nuke?

God so many questions, the next season needs to be super
long to answer them all!

In all the history of LOST I have never second guessed much
only this time I did think that maybe it wasn't the real
Locke, as they did kind of keep insisting "you don't come
back from the dead". However I don't enjoy the endless
speculation so I just... watch the show. But then I guess
that's not really Jack's father either. But was the coffin
empty in Season 1, or maybe the body got ....lost?

I like the statue, I think one of my fave Lost moments was
when Sawyer and that lot were having the flashes and
skipping through time and then for a minute they saw the
complete statue from a distance. I said to myself "Yes" and
treated myself to more beer.

I think the greatest mystery that won't be resolved is why
can't Jack ever answer a question, why has any "Hey Jack,
what happened?" have to be met by *pained expression*
"... Nothing".

No one caught that line in reference to people saying that
they make it along as they go? I thought it was pretty funny
that they would have the guts to put that in.
