what you think? they seem to have squeezed an awful lot of
content onto every page without making it completely
busy/overpowering. . . but i think the old site had more
character.

i agree about the last comment, it felt more WARPish, this
just feels like a joomla template.

the old warp site felt like aphextwin.nu, the old idm site
you know, it had character and a kind of retro futurism by
todays standards..
this one just looks like a normal site, and pretty boring.
kudos on warp.net tho, nice domain

Why the fuck are the header and footer more narrow than the
content area?

It bugs the hell out of
me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it looks uncannily like a modified wordpress template, hope
they didn't pay too much for it. Prefer the old site hands
down but the interweb these days demands every site looks
like every other.

i like it, especially how it throws heaps of stuff at you.
the chunkiness is nice, makes me want to squeese it like a
pair of titties - the narrower header and footer accentuates
this.

terrible layout. feels like it's loaded incorrectly. they
need to sort the width of the content to match the header.
it looks really bad

they bought the template for $29.95 and added bits

the half below the fold is tighter than the half we see -
far too much redundant space IMO. Colour scheme is
uninspired - purple anyone? The header width is also
annoying. Poor state of affairs.

all websites should just rip off the bbc news page. that is
the epitome of good web design.

uhm, kinda off topic...

Does Warp hate Prefuse73? He just had a new record out and
there's no mention of it (at least on the main page).

The site seems to gel a bit better on the artists pages,

its tough with members of your community (read: your
payroll) moving on and such..dont be so hard on such
changes. as long as you can quickly compute the shipping $
to your household, i see no reason for negativity

tunes are tunes. and you guys are cranking out some serious
fucking shit. keep going (hidden xltronics).

I like the new site. The old site was really hard to
navigate. Designers Republic is cool and all, but I'm
actually using their site now, where as before it was like
"FUCK WHERE ARE THE SQUAREPUSHER TOUR DATES?!".

Good tunes on here too !

The music player on the left should be integrated with the
site content. When I'm checking out a sampler, the left
player should load it up, instead of having the left play
one playlist, and the page content playing over top of it.
