I am getting paid at the end of next month, rather than
this month, which is annoying, but it will be just in time
to pay my rent.

I have about £50 until then. I could go into my second
overdraft of £100, but I will try not to. I haven't even
bought cheese today. I am taking frugality that seriously.

This thread is boring. I apoligise.

How frugal are you being at present?

I have been sick for almost three months. Fortunately that
means no apatite so I only need to spend a sixth of what I
used to on food. I have lost drastic amounts of weight,
which is probably a good thing, however I could have done to
loose it with more exercise instead of less eating.

I still smoke as much as I used to. But now I am spending
300-400 a week instead of 800.

Sorry to hear you've been sick. :( What kind of illness is
it? Hopefully nothing life-threatening.

It is good to spend less on some things, so that you have
more there when you need it.

Where's that surplus 400 a month going? Savings for a
holiday? My housemate is getting a PLANE from Brighton to
Newquay! Can you believe that?

No surplus... I am only able to work half as many hours as I
used to. So instead of $1200 every two weeks, I am making
$700.

I don't think its life threatening. All the doctors seem to
be able to come up with is that I have a case of the flu
that doesn't want to go away. I have slowly been getting
better... but its taking a lot of time.

Ah, c. Bad that you have less hours, but I guess it gives
you more free time, perhaps. That could be seen as a
positive thing.

Was the reduction of hours to do with your illness?

Get better soon! :)

X

Yeah. I can't get to work as early as I used to, and feel
exhausted after a few hours.

Thanks :)

My free time kind of sucks because I only really have the
energy to lie around and watch TV.
