Found a pretty decent electronic music mp3 archive with stacks of full albums, eps, singles whatever by pretty much anyone. I recommend getting a good download manager like the free "FreshDownload" (www.freshdevices.com) as like myself, you will probably be downloading and queuing up a lot of shit. Be sure to check the "FTP UNSORTED" folder as well, loads more music and albums in there. Unfortunately though, the site will be taken down very soon, Wednesday April 3rd at 00:01 PST. So in the meantime leech what you can. i've known about that one for a while. shame it's closing down though. does anyone know why it downloads some tracks as .htm instead of .mp3? i've had a problem with it doing that sometimes. |

Reflex: Did you ever think that perhaps site shut down for other reason than to many people knowing about them? Sometimes people can't afford them anymore. Or when the have illegal content they get shut down. So someone giving out an url doesn't make them fucked up. It's the internet. If You want to keep a secret, do post it on the net... |

We'll that's not even the problem really, I mean, for example, I have my private ftps that I keep to myself because I know the people that run the servers and would never give out my login. However this is a PUBLICLY available WEB site for anyone .. it doesn't require authentication or any sort of login/password. This is an open domain for a PUBLIC audience, in fact more people probably would be a good thing because of the FTP upload provided. I like to upload to FTPs and I know others do to, so by different users accessing that PUBLIC WEB site, there is the potential for an even larger music archive provided by the FTP uploads of all these incoming peeps (just check out the FTP UPLOAD folder and you'll see the amount of shit many people [including yo] have contributed). OK that.. and the fact that when I just recently discovered the site and found it would be shutting down in a couple days.. I figured hell, if the guy's announcing the site will be offline soon then why not invite more people to participate in some sharing of good, wholesome music before the opportunity passes them by...
