yeah, I remember that. Good film, excellent Aphex track.
It is silly to think of AFX as 'futuristic music', though. There are a lot of crazy things going on in the world in the field of science and technology, so it can be expected that music will also progress to a certain level.

I thought that as well- the music he was listening to wasn't very intense. But I guess it's a different generation he is from, so to most people of that generation Iron Maiden is intense, by their standards.
My nan listens to Iron Maiden, too. She also rides a mo'bike. No joke. She is only about 60, though. Not old as that guy.
Cool video, though.
