I'm really happy, especially since it's Morgan Khan behind it.
BUT, I remember SS releasing that compilation of all their old material last year as a crappy MP3 boxset and priced ridiculously. Still, reading about Nu Electro vol.1, I hope it is the classic electro (in all guises) album worthy of the label.

I forgot about that mp3 thing, that was a bit shoddy. It could be good if he manages to help out people that are doing good stuff but know nothing about getting a return. + creating a community for this type of music to develop not just rehash the old stuff.

Isn't this the second time electro has had a comeback? Jedi Knights did it back in 96 and called it nu-electro, so what is this? Nu-er-electro? ;)
Anyway, from the looks of it, he is planning to release similar stuff to the newly formed Debonaire (aka the fun, bassy electro stuff like Maggontron). I noticed a "2009 remix" of Don't Stop The Rock on the release schedule too, which gets alarm bells ringing somewhat. I knew someone would want to cash in on the Cadburys ad, but I didn't think it would be SS or Freestyle themselves... oh well, inevitable really, now that a whole generation of kids have it as their ringtone.
Seems he wants graf artists too. Hanal, whip our your pencil crayons and supply some graf cock for them.

Legend in the highest gonna look right into this,i mean mixing stuff like debonaire on ableton etc...is pretty much the standard, but i still likes-even greg wilson played last week using a lappie
but as with everything else i like to have my own take on things and shall be looking into this for both mixing and graff.
