...which would it be and why?

Alternatively, which belief system do you already belong to?

somewhere between Buddhist, atheist, thelemite, discordian,
subgenius, dionysian, kabbalist, sufi, luciferian and
christian.

couldn't pick one, even at gun point.

haha- same here!

No, only joking.

Actually, the more I read about proto-yoga-Buddhism the more
I get pretty excited.

Tao sounds cool, too. Thought it's not a religion, but let's
not get caught up in words. :)

I get my religion under the counter, if you know what I
mean. Or even if you don't.

something which encourages being just yourself and in the
moment and doesn't force you to do or don't do or believe in
any stupid meatphors? Is there actually a religion like
that?

I think the religions that are present today are dated for
the times we live in. I think we need a new FAITH (not
religion) that everyone on the globe can connect with, one
based on spirituality, technology and exploration (not
Scientology!)

I'm catholic, but i don't really believe in heaven all that
much... Neither in the existence of hell... I think of it
this way: When you don't believe in heaven, you're not going
to end up in heaven, and when you don't believe in hell, you
will not end up in hell either. Like, when you're doing this
one activity a whole full day, you end up dreaming about it
that night. That's what i believe can happen to a human when
it dies :)

I think i have a bit of what Sun Ra was having, that was
interesting!

i have no time to entertain any religious beliefs, how ever
i'm conditioned to a christian chain of thought.

along the lines of acosmic pantheism, with a mild dose of
unorthodox christianity informed by a confusion of
gnosticism.

whoa, deja vu.

as you can imagine, i don't belong to any belief systems. i
only have one belief and/or only know one fact, but it's a
doozy.

Buddhism is pretty much what you described. Living in the
moment is part of mindfullness and Buddha said that if there
is anything you don't believe in that is part of Buddhism,
just don't practice that part. It is quite a free belief
system, or philosophy or lifestyle. Whatever you want to
call- it is what you make it, I guess.

it was the first thing i thought of when space
vampires
came up. it actually isn't that bad, it's not
like a b-movie or anything. it kind has the scifi,
thriller, drama, mystery blend of the original invasion of
the body snatchers, the forgotten, or something along those
lines.

place out in the country.

the religion of the Hexagon Sun Cult.
