Greg Saurnier is hilarious- he plays the percussion part of songs differently every time when he does it live. When I went to see Deerhoof play, there was a point at which he looked at the other musicians with a confused expression, just shrugged and carried on in his own little world. He was unprofessional I guess you could say, but it goes with Deerhoof's fun ethos and was very entertaining. :D BTW, the SOAD drummer is very good too of course, but I just don't often enjoy seeing guys play music which they haven't written/ composed and take credit for it. But that's just me. |
