you know, the planet mumu acidartiste. who is it? is it a
lady named louise wood? or is it jonny hawk? who used to
be known as global goon? or a 62 year old retiree who lives
at del boca vista?

The milkman claims that it is Luke Vibert or Aphex Twin. But
then goes onto say that it is actually Lou Wood

At this point, it’s become standard to assume that any new
classic-sounding acid act is, in fact, Richard D. James in
disguise. The online chatter about the true identity of
Syntheme, coupled with the fact that the latest release
under the moniker, Lasers ‘N’ Shit, is an engagingly
funky course of acid disco, has done little to quell such
suspicions. (And how about those track titles – Thraqqwa?
Eqxq? More suggestive evidence). In all likelihood, however,
Planet Mu is telling the truth in simply stating ‘Syntheme
is Louise Wood from outta Brighton’. After all, this
Louise Wood has performed live numerous times as Syntheme;
RDJ never went so far as to hire actors to perform as The
Tuss.

I've seen her playing in london. She is definitely not aphex
or luke vibert or global goon!

according to discogs, syntheme is a pseudonym for jonny
hawk. guess i should have said where that came from.

Like in the eurodance days, the real vocalist was not the
same front girl who lipsync them later live shows, basically
Lou is just a frontgirl for Goon, she presses the buttons
and plays the tracks on the playlist.

i spoke once to Doubtufull Guest during one of the Planet-Mu
gigs in London, where Syntheme was performing. this was
early 2007. Libby (Doubtfull G) told me that this is music
made by Aphex, and she was singing on some of these tracks.
She told me that Rich is paying money to Loo for going on
stage and performing this music as Syntheme.

but that was then. maybe things changed :)

I saw her last Saturday and she didn't look ginger, though I
didn't check downstairs to see if the collar and cuffs
matched.

"to clear things up a bit: i lived with the lady for a
couple of months in my flat in berlin. by that time she was
making her own music under the name of kobi and zinovia but
the albums that were out were composed by jonathan taylor
aka global goon who i met several times personally as well.
lou and i even went to belgium together to meet him there. i
am not sure about the recent stuff published though, for i
have neither talked to or seen lou nor johnny in quite a
while. truth shall not be assassinated."

last fm

Personally I don't care who made it, as long as the music is
decent.
