Yous guys use any of these Requirements: Can use thumb / hard drives or mem cards, plays .Vob -and- Divx, playing those file types are a must
Don't want to have my PC on, ie. Those Wifi / LAN players I know, I could build another PC for this use but it's just not in the cards right now
Something under 200 US scoobies would be great

it comes with media conversion software.. Perhaps you can convert those file-types to something it can use?

For SD a modded XBOX1 running XBMC is unmatched.
For HD, a PC connected to the LCD TV is prolly the best option.
