Yous guys use any of these Requirements: Can use thumb / hard drives or mem cards, plays .Vob -and- Divx, playing those file types are a must Don't want to have my PC on, ie. Those Wifi / LAN players I know, I could build another PC for this use but it's just not in the cards right now Something under 200 US scoobies would be great |

umm, well googling "wdtv .vob" says it won't and WD tech support says "divx not supported"... |

it comes with media conversion software.. Perhaps you can convert those file-types to something it can use? |

For SD a modded XBOX1 running XBMC is unmatched. For HD, a PC connected to the LCD TV is prolly the best option. |

where did you read it wont play divx/xvid and vob?? It plays both those formats easily and you DONT have to convert anything! |
