googling for spam sites might have the reverse effect, and
take you to real sites. good thinking.

a wise man once said to me:
"if you reinstall everything make a small system-files
partition of the harddisk, install all you need and make
a backup with something like acronis-backup or so.
if you mess up things again you have everything restored
and running in 20-40 mins."

so i did and it paid off the very next day already...

well if you're on here, then you must have access to another
computer, so download a copy of hijackthis run it on your
infected computer and go to cybertechhelp.com

hijackthis will scan your registry and hard drive for any
hijackers and provide a report which some geek on
cybertechhelp will use to find the problem and give you
instructions on how to remove it

that's if you can be bothered

ad-aware and/or spybot should be able to kill this.

but:

1) what os are you running?
2) what browser?

huh..

my guess is that it's some kind of script that redirects.

you could try this firefox add-on. see if it can
identify and disable the script.
