Driving around in the snow

I've been driving around our housing estate in the thick
snow just for the sake of it. I lost control lots of times
and almost went into a lamp post. It's the first time snow
has settled since I passed.

yeah boyyee, i went out at 2 am this morn to do the same, it
was a struggle to get my car off our car park, but once off,
oh the fun! most of the roads were undriven befor i got
there, leaving my tracks in the virgin drifts! and i gotta
say i think i looked Uber cool doin some slides round
islands and even cooler when on a big car park where it
didnt matter where i ended up sliding too, dont think
felicitys' wheels appreciated the kurbstone interactions
suffered on normal roads!

happy driving penexpers!

best to drive while it's still snowing. watch all the fat
flakes of snow rushing at your face and whisking by in a
flash, no time to talk.

i was doing power drifts around corners and lost control a
few times, but sometimes i would get it perfect. and i felt
like a bad ass!

“all truly great thoughts are conceived while walking”.

i don't actually agree with that. the joy of walking, for
me, is thinking nothing.

Been out walking and taking photos, then a spot of driving
which is always great fun - might go out for a longer drive
today now that the roads out of town are open again.

I love driving in the snow, ruined one of my alloys though
when I hit the curb, not good ;(

Will be interesting to see what happens if we run out of
grit

dinnit relativity come from riding a bike?
driving is great
it is sometimes easy to forget how many of you don't drive
over there.

here in the states it is a necessity because we are so far
sparesed apart with regards to land mass

lots of long drives on open country roads; windows down
music up deer in headlights

People use cars too much in USA. Just to go to the end of
the street and that.

Then again, my dad drives to the end of the road to go to
the corner shop, which is about 200yds away...
