Just posting this because internationally everyone was talking about the guy in Canada who beheaded the person on the bus. The minister of transportation called for security checks at the bus terminals (they now check everyone's bags and pass a metal detector in Montreal to go to Ottawa... just the beginning). I was angry because the the drivers are so careless and there are so many busses that fly off the road that barely make the news. Where is the Transport minister now ? It's just propaganda to give money to security contracts (just like what happened in the airports). It's fucking bullshit, this is what need s to be looked at, careless employees and not some public campaign to scare people of a knife wielding bus maniac. This story wont make all the news papers because the people that own 'Acadian Lines' (the bus company) own all of the news papers in the area (Irving). |
