i don't expect anyone here to understand the feeling of
reading what stupid posers write. you see i was taught
supercollider during university. my works were shared by
countless people for years on peer2peer file sharing sites
after someone had encoded them as "analord 9"(probally
ignoraunt people like you).

my supercollider music was good enough to book venues for
4 years. seamus rewarded me for inovational tracks made
using it.

what you nobody losers don't understand is: supercollider
is some trendy thing you read about, while to me it was just
something i had to do as an artist

thank you for stopping as it is obvious in every post,

now, a person such as yourself, that can offer alot to
people on this board such as myself and others who aren't
privilged with a university degree in music and are purely
in it for either fun, conversation, like-mindedness, love
for music, or any other good reason,

is it possible, that maybe you can instead of dropping
random little trollposts, offer some insight and technical
knowledge into this messageboard

maybe you can instill positive things in this lame
messageboard so that members of older days who actually
cared about music making instead of dramatic bullshit would
return and we can start making progress again.

This site used to be a resource to me, it has now become (to
me) a very sad place.

i'm not trying to be a good samaritan, but i think maybe
letting people know that JUST making music in ableton live
or any other DAW is barely making music, though really it's
not the tools, it's how you use it.

hahahaha!

You were obviously not an English student, friend.

"ignoraunt" (added a 'u', 'cos you're 'inovational', I
suppose:D)

"inovational" (missing an 'n')

"probally" (first 'l' should be a 'b')

And I don't know what to say about your insults, such as
"bullshit morons", except that you try to string so many
into one super insult phrase, that is just makes me chuckle
derisively.

Learn to spell before you slag others off, you misguided
twit.

Other points of interest:

-Why are you here? All you is be a cunt all the time. What
do you gain from being part of this community, except
sadism?

-I can't say for certain, but I think your music is likely
to be generic and just what you were told to make, since you
learnt to be creative at university. You obviously had no
natural, innate creative skills. You say that you are an
"artist", but surely artists are not taught how to be
creative? Am I in the ball park, here?

Conclusion: Please go away, I don't like you.

pulseclock:

simple programs are fine, its just obvious when idiots drop
names of superior software in an effort to appear as if they
know what it is or used it.

plus i'm not privilged, i grew up in a village and have
worked labor jobs since i was 10. if you want to go to
school, then you'll have to work for it. Nobody is going to
buy it for you, americans like you have the most sick sense
of entitlement. your so mentally and physically lazy

Tractern:

you rude twat, are you actually bragging about being able
to speak your native tongue? are you really that fucking sad
and pathetic that you want aknowledgement for using your
words like a big boy? english is my 2nd language, but even
so i'm willing to bet i'm far more educated in it than you.
plus if you had half a brain in your head you would thank
god that i venture on forums cause i'm the thing that
everyone of you dreamers wants to be.

Indeksical:

dude my myspace page has had tons of visits, and i've had
nearly 10000 downloads of my trax.

you know what proves to me that your a jeolous wannabee?

that youre one of these losers who pays out of pocket for a
website so he can pretend he has been released. guess what
i've been released on 5 real net labels and i couldn't
fucking care less. because i know my music is wanted, and
i'm not an insecure bitch who craves nothing but attention.

come off it Indeksical, your music which i've just heard
fucking sucks, and i'm not willing to pretend that people
want to hear it.

d lefty:

it really is an awesome program, if you have any of the
original versions let me know, and i'll send you some wicked
patches & libraries

Here is what I think: you are a foolish person. You have
backed yourself into a corner in a silly internet argument

admit you were being silly.

Well, why haven't i seen your stuff floating around here
then? Why do you just get stuck with boring netlabels that
prove nothing? Have you ever looked into why netlabels
really want your music? Most of the time it's to fill their
catalogue, which i'm sure they did with you too. Come off
it, you're not special my friend, you just do what you do,
only difference is that you were stupid enough to pay cash
to, as they say, "learn how to be creative" which you were
obviously not born for i notice when i look at you speak
about your talent. I'm not even sure you know what talent
really is.

Surprised I haven't seen this thread yet!

Yes, SuperCollider -- it simply is the best because you
tailor the software to YOUR uses. Not the other way around;
you build your interface, your synths, your patterns and
signal flow. No rigid UIs to inhibit your performance;
modulate nearly any parameter in all sorts of imaginative
ways not possible through graphical programs; utilize its
sophisticated OSC engine to build custom hardware to suit
your patches. Not to mention the brilliant, vibrant, and
academic user community.

Bliss.

Hey music maker!

I've been listening to your tunes! They sound really good!
But not enough to have wasted years of your life at
University learning very intelligent sound tools to compose
your music! How does it feel that some random 18yo kid that
I know makes music beyond you will ever be able to in your
entire life using shitty gear? Man you failed on the talent
finals?

Thanks for reading my comment dude! Peace! (<3)
