Mine's going terribly, thanks for the interest! I've pretty much given up in this shithole town, there were four jobs in the local paper last week and I wasn't even eligible to do one of them. I think I'm just going to start my own business. Oh and while you're here I won't be fucking Bloc weekending it either. The missus doesn't want to go (she wants more traditional fare ie. Glastonbury) and neither of us can afford both so we're going to go on holiday instead... Just the two of us... I hope I survive. Last time we went on holiday we missed our plane back and we nearly killed each other. |

The job center is useless if you are looking for something more than a manual labour/phone jockey job. In fact, even those sort of jobs are in short supply now. I remember being signed on last year and just gave up on using them to find me a job. Their professional section is just cringe worthy and "local job searches" displayed jobs a million miles from where I actually lived. Anyway, I setup my own business and now work less hours for much more money. I'd never go back to working for someone else. I say go for it sir, you won't regret it. Oh and no worries about Bloc, it looks like I won't be making it either, due to the fact its my mums 60th birthday that weekend and I also have a tax return due back :< |
