what do you suppose weingarten or bell were expecting? when was the last time you saw a busker get a standing ovation or a demand for an encore? did they think that most people would be able to tell the difference between the world's best and a merely competent musician in the span of 30 seconds when they passed him on the street, with traffic noise and other pedestrians etc?
