dude the percussion is brilliant, and while the synths and melodies are okay (kind of plaid sounding) for some reason i think they could be even better.
but the percussion is absolutely brilliant.
did you synthesize all of the percs? what was used?

thanks cx :)
hand sequenced it all in ableton live.. built a few of hits in absynth from scratch, stole a few directly from battery (masked em somewhat though with various effects), also took some of the snares from the built in ableton live impulse drumset.
and the scream sound you hear towards the end is a cyborg death sound from Quake 2.
as far as the melodies, yeah they could be kind of cheese-sounding, but I like the way they lock in and harmonize, esp in the last third. but yeah i can see where you're coming from.

it builds up really slow but it's worth the wait - from 1'50'' on it begins really interesting and could last for at least 2 minutes more = ok

appreciate the listen :) good ideas, might mess with an extended remix at some point and bust a few more tricks in the build up... appreciate the critique

Needs to be longer. Much longer. I enjoyed it before it ended. Make it longer.

I don't have anything as constructive as the others to say about this, as I don't make electro music myself.
However, I liked it, it soudned clean and nice and the beat was cool- quite unusual and reminded me a little of Autechre, without sounding derivative.
If this was longer and went somewhere, I could imagine myself buying an album of similar sounding tracks.
