i like this one,

"The creation proves the creator"

This is called circular reasoning. By calling the universe a
'creation' you have already assumed the creator.

Try "The universe proves the universitor"..

um that does not make sense. Like the entire idea of this
god-character.

there are a few good arguments made in the comment section
of that video.

showing the canyons (at 1:04) does not prove a worldwide
flood.

+

basically, my question would be who created the creator?

straightpeanuts
so how was this 'creator' created?

ceiu1967
Who ever said that the creator was created? You? Who are
you? With a little research you would have found that the
creator resides in eternity. Do you understand even an idea
of what that means? Obviously not.

straightpeanuts
that makes no sense. how can something so intelligent and
smart, obviously needing a creator itself, have just been
there throughout eternity?

ceiu1967
You still don't have the concept of eternity. There is no
"throughout" in eternity. Eternity is the absence of time.
6000 years ago is a human thing, not a Creator thing.
I don't claim to know it all, I have faith in something
greater than myself, as do you. Through years of personal
research, I have decided that this faith I have is right for
me. It doesn't matter to me if the creator was created, or
just exists, it matters that something greater than me has
dominion in my life.

straightpeanuts
actually i don't belive in anything more powerful than
myself, because i can't really grasp a concept of a purpose
to all of this 'worshiping', i live life not worrying about
whats going to happen to me when i die, or about if someone
ive never met will be mad at me for sinning, but you go have
fun doing it.

straightpeanuts
k nvm all this, i just realized that i don't care.

That video is its own crippling argument against itself. You
can't just say that already-explained natural phenomena
(like thunder or water erosion) prove the existence of God.
This just shows that desperate people will latch on to
anything. God not showing up? Oh, he must be that newspaper
on the coffee table.

I agree with J198: "if god existed i don't think he would be
happy after seeing this video."

This made me chuckle:

It's sad that people have no trouble believing this, but for
some reason mock the notion of a Flying Spaghetti Monster as
our all seing, all powerful meatball in the sky, blessing
all with his noodly appendage!

i pray fourteen times a day to the spaghetti monster with
two six hour sessions of physical self disciple. mainly
whipping and slashing my kneecaps.

these christian videos always have cheesy dramatic music and
images along with their shitty circular arguments.

the atheist videos are usually just some angry metal dude
with a webcam, shooting fish in a barrel.

Q: What is christianity?

A: It is the belief that a two-thousand-year-old jewish
zombie can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his
flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as
your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul
that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was
convinced by a talking snake to eat an apple off a magical
tree in a wonderland.

check out this message i just got

Despite your assertion that the word "theory" as applied to
science is a highly regarded term, it does not take away or
add to the facts. Theory is a school of thought yet to be
proven. The problem with science is that it has taken many
theories as fact, and applied it to evidence which
consequently has been like building a house upon the sand.
Then this theory as it is further built must be protected
because it does not stand up to scrutiny. Any opposing
theories, especially if it introduces the possibility of an
intelligent creator, must be squashed. This is the movement
we are living today. Evolution is bunk, excepting one of the
6 criteria that scientists have conjured to encompass the
evolution theory. We assimilate. We lose genetic material as
it becomes useless to our survival. Organisms do not obtain
additional genetic material, never have, never will. We were
complete to begin with. Evolution is the exact opposite of a
much more plausible theory. Scientists who have embraced the
flawed Darwinian school of thought as fact, and have also
embraced the atheistic movement, cannot be objective about
their study of the origin of life. They have embraced as
truth the unproven theory, and therefore eliminated evidence
that would be contrary to the proof of evolution. Scientists
who debunk all other theories as to the origin of lfe are no
longer being objective. For evolution to be a fact, it must
fulfill the 6 criteria. It doesn't. The belief in evolution,
as a whole, is as blind as believing the world is flat. All
credibility for any scientist who investigates evidence
based on evolution, is lost. He/she is no longer a
scientist, but rather a cult follower. Period.

wow, i can't even fathom the logic behind this. If he wants
to be dominated by something/someone greater than himself,
why doesn't he join a leather boys' club?
