i like when beats are melodies (like afx hack)
and when
melodies are beats (like synth stabs)

tending to melodies though, listening to lot more
melodic stuff these days and less abstract idm.
must be getting old...

Can a beat not be a melody?

Can the pitches of rhythmic instruments not provide a
melody?

What are marimbas!? Tympani!?!

they ruin it.

vocals, really?
well i always digged good vocals and by that i mean
good content paired with a voice thats pleasent to the ear
in songs that are actually good.
a combination thats hard to find really.
ive been soo happy to find good music that works without
vocals aswell that i felt like being in heaven finally...

so, i really like vocals, but theres no thing
that can ruin a song like the wrong vocals.
