yeah, it's his best. not too much jazz shit, good beats,
clever use of reverb to create space

9/10

"good" beats. "clever" use of reverb. understatement!
True dat its his best album

I disliked it when I first heard it. I still dislike it now.
Selection Sixteen was far better and MIRON was also better.

is it cos it's needlessly manic, all the thrills and tricks
are overdone like? i also can't find any love in the
melodies. they're clever and wotnot but lack soul. i used to
really dig that ambient sad one but now i hates it also.
compare it to aphex and it feels impersonal.

Exactly.
The album is a totally sterile affair, devoid of any sort of
meaning or emotion.
He is a really talented guy and I get the feeling he reigned
himself in to make an album he felt would be more palettable
to the average "IDM" listener at the time.
It seemed a somewhat transitional album that he surpassed
both before and after.

its for freaking dancing too . its all about the drums.

it kicks your ass with your own leg by twisting and
spasticating your body.

its freaking genius.. he has brought balance to my record
collection.
