I like the shows they do about roller coasters & shit. And
on TLC, the shows about the fastest planes and the biggest
buildings, etc. are cool too.

TV is my warm best friend, who i can change and manipulate
with a remote control.
Discovery channel is usually interesting, thou i could do
without some of the tacky "crime" stuff, leave that to court
tv imo

I can't imagine what life was like before cable....very sad,
I know...50 channels...(after the standard 4.5 of analogue
TV in the UK).... It makes me feel I've arrived in the
future when I tune into BBC4...

Get a great Inet connection as well...24/7 unlimted for a
tenner a month; get the bext 56K connection I've had from
any ISP...I've managed ot stay on-line without hassles etc
for over 5 days without dropiing the line or
whatver....Braodband is only 15 quid more but I need to do
some convincing on the other half...

for those of you in the states -- DO NOT get digital cable
if you don't already have it. it sounds cool, but it's a
waste of money. the signal blacks out every other day, and
it takes like 10 seconds to flip between a channel. The
video quality is like 0.000003% better.

i've never really had a problem with my digital cable, it is
nice to have all the extra hundreds of channels, and the
web-based menu, but switching between channels is a bit of
pain....in the mid-west AT&T is only allowing 1 box per
household until they distribute more of them around, that
blows

shadow looms over, and in comes rolling the mother of all
mega-tsunami's... I love those dreams, there fuckin great!

Any shows about ghosts or the paranormal always makes me wet
my pants in delight. Wandering spirits, poltergeists,
satanic beings... I love show with that insanity in them.

"Team Discover Channel!" - martin on the simpsons..heh

ya discover channel is great...by far its more interesting
than stupid normal channels, (ie fox, etc)
its definitly the channel i watch the most of
but i dont like the newer documentaries they have.. about
big cool construction projects, idiots getting cought in bad
weather, n stuff like that.. or "how'd they do that"
*shudder* i HATE that show
i like good old fashioned traditional educational
programing, about animals and space n stuff
they should put more space-related shit on..

TLC just sucks these days.. its RARE that they have anything
educational on.. its all paramedic shows, natural disasters,
and junkyard wars
(although i have to admit, i love the EARLIER episodes of
junk yard wars.. the new ones suck though)

hahahha Tsunami's ....... i like those RAGING PLANET shows
too.

BUT

i have an interest in forensic's and detecting.....so The
New Detectives, FBI Files, and Justice Files......those are
my MUST not miss shows. They do make me a bit paranoid
tho.....ehehe but i am fascinated about how people catch
criminals.....the science behind it =)
