did you check out circle synth from future audio yet? if
not, do so.

they tout it as easy to use, but it is pretty powerful and
intuitive. it's mostly what i've been using lately. very
next-gen sounding and easy to get modular type
configurations set up.

i thought about getting operator, but worried that it would
make me sound too ableton or something?

quoth i looked at the source and am unable to get the
mp3s..

quicktime doesnt work globally on my machine i installed it
thrice..

glasse:

i have looked very briefly at circle, i will look some more
at it now..
and.. im not sure what sounding too 'ableton' means? :P

i dunno, because live is my core environment i worried if my
instruments were ableton too it would define the sound too
much. i might be being silly..

you can make any sound in ableton though, operator is pretty
diverse, and with external vst effects it can be
unrecognizable

cx, that's sounds quality. i've never bothered with it
before, but after hearing that i must give it a go.
