He says "I was well spun out"

"Spun out" is sort of like weirded out, You knowwhat's going
on but it is a bit Scarey, Odd, Strange or don't quite
recollect everything, but remember it not being quite right
the next day.

Could applied to smoking pot. Getting the fear, getting
"spun out"
Normally alcohol, you know when you are a teenager and get
pissed lie on your bed and get the helicopter motion of
spinning sickness. i.e. getting literally "spun out"

Spin or getting spun nowadays can refer to political
spinning of news stories. Changing emphasis of what has been
said or projected for politic capital in an attempt to
control the media agenda.
