I stumbled across these guys' myspace page the other day
and listened to the first song, and was immediately hooked.
They remind me of a Nintendo cover band, like The Advantage,
but not playing Nintendo cover songs. Can anyone recommend
an album of their's in particular, or should I just get 'em
all?

I've only heard the warp ep - in the blood - and found it
rather dull. Sounded like rather dated post rock to me.

Get the new Stereolab on 4ad. It's absolutely fantastic!

CAN'T GET E-FUCKING-NOUGH.

Seriously, O Soundtrack My Heart is bloody awesome. Their
first album Make Me Love You is pretty good too. That's all
they've put out album wise.

Bought this last night. Had a listen through while doing
stuff.

I haven't been this excited about a new band since i first
got into Boards of Canada.

So far, my favorite track is Epsilon

They're playing in Birmingham soon, i'm gonna try and go see
them.

I might be, can't go to the Bristol gig cos the Louisiana is
18+ Only. I expect the Birmingham one will be too. :(

You're under 18?
Well, when i ordered they didn't specify that proof of age
would be required. I can't remember if the website states it
though.
But then again it IS a club, so they probably will have an
age restriction.
If you do manage to make it, that would be cool :) i'm
hoping it's gonna be a good night

I'm glad to have heard them.
An excellent band(?)... like Battles IMO.
And yet, it's still not the direction I was hoping Warp
would go in;
but such and idea about Warp is so tired...
I couldn't help but say that though.

just bought their first album, Make Me Love You, on iTunes
plus

really good stuff, there's a bit of a change with the move
to Warp. but i guess that's to be expected when you cut 3
members out of the picture.

looking forward to hearing more. looks like they finish
touring after Feb 09, so i expect a new album by March 09.

Trent did it while touring, i don't see why these guys can't
:p
