i had to write an article for class, about any subject matter. So i decided what the hell i'll write about what i've been reading in the news. This is a rough draft so just ignore the grammar please.
Politics is a game of chess, and the americans are simply not as naive as some will have you to think. Everyone knows (at least those that follow the news) that there was the conflict between the former CIS state, georgia and russia. Russia is understood to be a 'supposed democratic nation' but that is shown time and time again to be clearly false, given the results of these recent elections just this year. Where Dmitry Medvedev the former Prime Minister (and Putin loyalist) was elected as the President, and Putin demotes himself and acquires Dmitry's prior position of Prime Minister. Yea work your way around that, if thats not corruption then i don't know what is. And aside from Russia's tendencies to want to over exert themselves in places they're not suppose to, like using their naval forces in the Alaskan oil fields to claim it like it's all theres (last time i checked the U.S. had a state called Alaska).
It's understood Putin's power comes in his oil, the higher the cost in oil the more power he maintains. So in understanding that simple principle comes the understanding of Khodorkovsky.
The imprisonment of the russian tycoon Khodorkovsky who was punished for wanting to independently have closer economical tie with the U.S., inorder to follow his own political and economical interests unlike the conservative construct of Russia, so then by Khordorkovsky cultivating a relationship within the U.S. he would not have to depend on Russian interest and influence. Unfortunately this would not be the case, October 25, 2003, Khodorkovsky was arrested at Novosibirsk airport by the Russian prosecutor general's office on charges of fraud. (cont. on next post)

Tangled up by the supposed ambitions of Platon Lebedev, a Khodorkovsky partner and second largest shareholder in Yukos, on suspicion of illegally acquiring a stake in a state-owned fertiliser firm Apatit, in turn accusing Khodorkovsky of having his smaller companies involved in fraud.
But all these things are not as resolute and illuminated than that of Gary Kasparov failed run for the presidency, a former Grandmaster in Chess, a national icon, and dissenter of Putin. Gary's quest for acquiring the presidency came to a complete stop, when he had to withdraw presidential candidacy due to inability to rent a meeting hall to endorse his candidacy, as is legally required. With the deadline expiring on that date. Kasparov's spokeswoman accused the government of using pressure to deter anyone from renting a hall for the gathering and said that the electoral commission had rejected a proposal that separate smaller gatherings be held at the same time instead of one large gathering at a meeting hall.
A year later comes the war in S. Ossetia a breakway region from Georgia. There is no need to deliberate who started what, aside from considering russia being the most likely aggressor. Although there were peacekeepers in the region...they weren't international peacekeepers, they happened to be well, from RUSSIA! So the War Begins! So havoc takes place as Russian bombers pound away at mainly residential areas, killing innocent civilians and some critical military infrastructures within various cities, even in Georgia's capital of Gori, hundreds die at the hands of Russians. Given the powerlessness of Georgia the fighting eventually ends weeks later, with minor casualties sustained from Russia and as stated devastation consumes all of Georgia. Now Russia or I should say Putin had its fun of flexing his military might. (cont. on next post)

Now comes the aftermath, the consequences to this improportionate aggression will come to a cost for Russia. Condoleezza Rice today announced the best way to counter this abuse is by solidifying, we should say galvanizing georgia by giving them membership into Nato, something Putin has been very outspoken to for reasons not cleary defined other than diminishing his own military might and security. And as proven by this conflict it is something well deserved. Putin clearly has no control over his own corruption. So that being said with Georgia's membership into Nato, military infrastructures will be put in place to better protect the people of Georgia, and not only will Georgia become a member, eventually Ukraine will as well. A country 10 times the size of Georgia, and a country who has been seeking membership into Nato since 2004 but hindered by the likes of Putin and the Kremlin through fierce foreign policy to overpower the might of the West. But now's the time, for America to lend out it's hands against Russia's nationalistic and corrupt ambitions for power, not only will this protect the CIS and provide better security for the whole world. It will hinder Putin and in the process protect russia from itself. ( then i added this cool graphic at the end of my paper nato flag )

Politics is a game of chess, and the americans are simply
not as naive as some will have you to think. I will have to me think that it would be to be naive to continue to read this as it'd give me a headache, a headache I can ill afford.
Last month I was in this estate agents office looking for, hey, somewhere to live, and I met this American chap and, hey, he was a nice guy. I think I even gave him a cigarette (as a friendly gesture, not to cause him harm).
Then yesterday I was in a Cyber Cafe to, hey, communicate with the outside world (or just to poke a cyber stick a Cuntychuck) when I heard a familiar voice behind me. My buddy was canvasing for John McCain, all the way here from the Cono Sur, fuck knows who was on the other end of his phone call, but I heard all this tabloidy crap about abortion, "pro-life" and how Obama was going to recall all the troops from Iraq and that "all the soldiers' lives lost in Iraq would be in vain... we have to finish the job". ... The moral of this story is... buy your own home with Internet included.

"There is no need to deliberate who started what, aside from considering russia being the most likely aggressor."
yeah, lets not deliberate who started it... but lets just put the blame on Russia anyway, just for the sake of it.
"Although there were peacekeepers in the region...they weren't international peacekeepers, they happened to be well, from RUSSIA! So the War Begins! So havoc takes place as Russian bombers pound away at mainly residential areas, killing innocent civilians and some critical military infrastructures within various cities"
haha, are you serious? Your completely missing the part where Georgia attacks South Ossettia?!
And how dare Russian peacekeepers patrol an area that is not part of Georgia, but is full of Russians. What were they thinking. Its not like they were justified in being there, its not like Georgia was ever going to use military force on South Ossettia is it.... oh wait...
Are you hoping to get a job at Fox news? In that case A+
