Hey guys,

Looking for something to listen to. If you got links to your
newest albums or favorites, please post so I can grab em.

I prefer ogg, but Mp3 is alright too.

Very nice track, paints a vivid feeling of being lost (which
is a good thing). The beats are subtle yet lead the track
nicely. I love 48 seconds in when the melody moves to the
forefront. The last couple of seconds stand out, though it
doesn't feel as resolved. Overall I like it.

Thanks a ton guys !

On major critique is that some of our files are hard to
download !

I very strongly suggest you offer the singles, ASWELL as a
ZIPPED of your entire album.

For my own personal music, I found this worked very well.
Because sometimes people are in a different context then you
would originally expect.

I want the 20 songs, but I don't want to right click save as

Great tunes everyone !

DiaZoHeXagoN your shit is awesome, good example of how
mixing really makes or breaks a song. Lot's of good bass.

What are you using ? What type of Monitors ?

Thanks Oxygen, I appreciate you listening!

I use Reason 4, Logic, Live 6, and renoise.
For my bass, I have a moog little phatty (hate the fucking
name, but love the synth) and a future retro 303

I have event monitors

Do you have any new stuff, I remember hitting a website of
yours back in the day, perhaps a myspace?

Crazone,

The first track litnieromenikan, starts off good and your
breaks are super clean, but it doesn't really go anywhere
until around 2 minutes in, I think the melodies work great
as accompaniment but you need something a little more
powerful to really draw it all together. I believe this is
because your drums are overpowering the melody. Not due to
volume, but perhaps because the melody is really fluid and
reverbed the fuck out. Still there are elements I really
dig.

Weep woep - I like the bubbly synth noise, and some of the
rhythmic values, but overall it doesn't jive so well. Also
as opposed to your first track, the drums are too far back
in the mix. It feels like every element (with exception to
the drums) is fighting to be in the front. Again I like the
elements but don't feel it is a complete composition.

Africanmambojamboshit - This one starts to come together,
yet I still feel the beginning is lacking something a little
more definitive. However the ending really is dope...though
it starts to repeat a little too much for my taste.

safari-I don't think the beginning beat fits with the track,
it isn't until you pick it up that it starts to flow a bit
better. The pads modulation in the middle of the track are
definitely a nice touch. This tracks seems like it would
work well live, like all the parts are completely
interchangeable. Though I think the glitching needs a
little more attention, parts seems a little slap-dash. The
last couple of seconds are cool.

Saven - Has the best intro. This track however sounds like
the vast majority of it was made using pitched up drum
samples. The bell/chimes in the back are great. remind me
of something played at LACMA awhile back for a art
presentation, just better. Nice ending as well...wish more
of the rising notes where used thoughout the track.

Overall I think I like your compositions on a micro level,
but the macro leaves something to be desired. How long have
you been writing? I think you definitely have a unique
sound...

but most of the tracks seem to be begging for a strong
melody line, of which I don't think any of them have. This
is all of course my own opinion and I think you could
definitely do some nice things with these tracks. Thanks
for sharing!

I'm listening to the rest really nice mellow melodies, Lost
Acid has one of the best uses I've ever heard for the 606
tom-toms, most people only use the HH on that drum machine
but the tom toms are also cool sounding imo. Listening more
I confess that I didn't found the tracks with the detuned
synths easy listening. Are the acid lines all MC-202? They
sound nice and springy.

You don wanna see me get daaark.

Yeah i'm going to dark it up with this kind of thing +
ambient stuffs like 'it will face you soon'. I gots plenty
more ambient tracks of that style but that was one of my
best. It really was a lovely tune.
As a playa that truely knows good tunage, would you prefer
me to stay dark or carry on with those strange chirpy tunes
like the staz remix? I'm not sure on my direction at the mo
and i could go either way. It's a shame for me to have to
choose but i really havn't got the energy for both styles. I
feel i need to be more dedicated to one style for the sake
of my sanity.

you should try to incorporate both styles, which I know
might sound ridiculous...but if it was done well, it would
be pretty awesome. Why only subscribe to one genre? I know
it's tiring at times, but adding variety and the ability to
do so, really makes artists shine.

Sano: I find something very touching about detuned synths,
so I think that for alot of ears it sometimes seems like i
went overkill with them. Like in Lcox3 for example. The acid
and synth lines on Fahcid vol 1 are all my own synthedit
synths. I think the one you are referring to is some tb303
clone that came out as anything but a tb303 clone. The
controls work kindof the same though, with accent depending
on the velocity, but i think it kind of came out as an mc202
clone with the tb303 slide and accent functions. I might
aswell turn it into that right now :D. I use real hardware
under my Dr. Dinsync moniker, if you were interested. The
downloads are on my site, halfway the page.

AMPI MAX: Don't think in genres, just rape them over and do
whatever the fuck you want to do :) But like said before, do
a mixture of both directions.

pulseclock: Thanks man, that's an interesting visual
comparison you made there :D

Wonzers all synths are synthedit? They sound real fat, never
imagined you could get that quality with synthedit since
almost everyone rats about the sound quality of it. The
DinAttack EP is pretty dope, Tits and Clicks :bows:

Casio acid synth version is my fav track, the intro is the
tits then the synth comes after <3

Vildsäd sounds so fresh, it's like if you put squarepusher
and happy hardcore in a blender, I don't know how that
sounds in text but the track sure sounds brilliant, the
breaks, the basslines, the happy melodies, then the mean BD
comes in, lush.

DiaZoHeXagoN: wooh :D

Sano: Nice to hear you enjoy my work :) About the synthedit
remark, the people who claim that synthedit has shit
soundquality annoy me. I make my synths and use them pretty
much raw, mostly a bit of reverb, and on occasion a tuber on
the basslines, but no EQ-ing or whatever, so i don't know
what i'm either doing right or they're doing wrong. I did
add a tiny bit of white noise triggered by the OSCs on the
synth, so it gives the OSC a white noise-ish contour, which
makes it sound "analog". Ofcourse it's only pure emulation
but it seems to do the trick in making the sound i want from
it :)
