I am better than electronic music, but I still love it. I love it the way the good lord loves his little creatures, even though he is better than them.

europe is so rich and diverse though. there are regional differences in america.. food, culture, architecture, but its a lot of the same shit just bigger.
you get REAL freakin sick of going into any town and seeing the same old mcdonalds, best buy, target, applebees. Every town is a cookie cutter clone of the one next to it.
i want cobble stone walkways with corner bistros, buildings that are thousands of years old...

i am probably speaking from some abstract fantasy though. we have small towns away from corporate retail where the simple life remains, and i am sure you have plenty of mcdonalds and all that shit there too

You are right.... sometimes it gets a bit too much. I'm lucky that I've got friends elsewhere. It's so relieving to see a bit more green, a lot more sun, and less pathetic dread. I mean, I wouldn't mind if London had a scary, gothic dread to it, or the sky was full of foreboding, monstrous clouds, but it isn't; it's a boring, featureless slab of grey, and the dread that seeps about in the atmosphere is more of a 'meh' kind of dread.
Yes.
