"The superintendent said they have been reluctant to
identify the fathers, many of whom are older. But one of
them "is a 24-year-old homeless guy," the principal was
quoted as telling Time."

Classy...Just pure class.
Idiots

she didn't - they're parentheses.

:P

altho technically you're right, they should have been
brackets.

Parentheses ARE brackets.

I wish people would learn better English.

Guys its a beautiful day. Giving birth is a great thing
especially for 16yos. Its just like having a really cool
doll.

As a tax payer i think all of them should be used for
shooting practice. Including the parents.

as a tax payer i think we should give more money to sex? ed?
programs sponsored by the bush administration and jesus
christ. they're clearly working!

Box brackets []
Parethesis ()
Curly brackets {}
Chevrons <>

All are types of bracket, at least in developed countries.

hm well i've always grown up calling the box brackets just
brackets. oh well.

and i've certainly never heard < ... > called chevrons, but
then again i don't know if i've ever heard them specifically
called anything.

Chevrons are also called angle brackets. I tend to just say
less than/greater than signs
