Eight SID chips? Has someone started making these things again? I'm sure the original batch must have all been used, but still going strong enough for 8 per? It's like these Curtis synth chips which were pretty endangered and now people like Dave Smith seem to have uncovered that they actually have 25 years worth of stock down the back of the sofa.... SID doodah looks pretty, probably sounds it too. I'm trying to think what science fiction it reminds me of. |

so that's you on ucapps :> i'm still down with my first chip. i got some weird issues i can't get rid off. used different cores, differen sids, different midi interfaces but the problem remains the same. i hate that |

and even thorsten doesn't know what it is. some of the patches simply sound fucked. the arpeggiator isn't working at all and when you put the filter in a very high or low position the sound goes away. wicked stuff. |
