manu chao is amazing. proxima has to be one of my favorite albums of all time - nothing quite matches up to sitting back in the summer with that disc, roaching a spliff and sipping on some cheap mexican beer. i will be seeing him (again, saw him at coachella two years ago) this summer at the outside lands festival along with radiohead and beck! (yeah, one day with those three bands, plus more. in golden gate park in san francisco. fuck yeah!) |
