This piece expresses my inability to create, my lack of motivation and desire and my hate for humanity that is practically mirroring over on itself. No it really doesn't express anything. I made it in 4 minutes using one single cheesy default note sound. Horray! Then I listened to it while I cut off pieces of my face and ate them, satisfied in a sea of myself. The sucky music felt right at home in my ears because I suck.

Yes, it is a very beautiful song. Thanks for listening. Easy listening. No, fuck that, I'm not thanking you for listening. You should be thanking me for making it! I should have aphex twin style cult status soon because of this.

if slightly remixed that would be a perfect song for sonic the hedgehog. (the second half.).

All I can make is fairly short loops, that's my main problem. How the hell do you turn that into an actual sonicesque song? Any change on the next bar is guaranteed to suck if created by me.

that can be my problem too, with some tracks.
addition and subraction of elements can spice things up, but that's a given. just work on a cool one bar transition and see where the next part takes you.
and really listen to how the real sonic tracks (not just sonic, just using that as an example) switch up the songs and try to emulate the tactic. the result can be hit or miss, but it's worth trying over leaving a pretty solid loop to rot by itself, i've found.

I 'studied' imaginary fantasy's tracks (played them half speed in audacity while simultaneously trying to find the notes in modplug) and found he seems to use only keys a,c,e,g.
So i made a song that tries to emulate that, does this sound ok-ish?:
el4
What is the main 4 note chord that they teach kids first or something. Is it c,e,g,a or is it c,e,g,b ?
