I've been thinking, what else could be added to this basic list of what makes up a human life?
Work Relationship Recreation

Achievement can be put into work and recreation, sleep and reproduction into basic needs.
I'm thinking more are there any more on top of the four I listed.

i wouldnt call reproduction a basic need because you can certainly function without it - i would classify basic needs as those things which an individual life would perish without.
oh and to be pessimistic about things, how about boredom and depression?

Are you referring to the Hierarchy of needs? I've seen that, but it doesn't quite confirm my thoughts.

entertainment
energy
education cause humans need to be tought how to survive.
food markets . cause the governments and multi nationals have taken away all our land for growing food...taken out gardening and food production from the national education ciriculum and created money money money to buy food...money so they can control us. and make us build things for them in return for food.
hek knows. .

There was a good thing on BBC radio 4 the other day talking about 'green issues'. The results of some of it was it's best to not eat organic free range things as they live twice as long and kill the enviroment.

Cheers Brisk, I was trying to remember the name of that model the other day for another thread, but couldn't... I'll try harder this time around to remember it... have you read any Colin Wilson? That's where I first heard of it.
