I don't know if this is the problem, but i have left my
mabook on for like a week straight, sitting on a flat
surface, just wondering if it heats up too much to where the
computer might not be recieving MIDI correctly? My BCR2000
will be recognized by Ableton, but won't recive the MIDI
signals, and the MIDI Interface always gets lost after about
3 minutes, anyone if the heat is the problem and if i should
go do something else to have it cool down?

My MIDI interface is basically completely dead (M-Audio
Quattro). I have suspected the same thing, it always gets
mad hot when I'm using it and the 1/4" jacks all still work.
just no midi.

yeah the behringer rarely works, when it does, it sometimes
just jumps to random values out of nowhere, and the MOTU
Fastlane Interface, i don't know just drops out, I love
using this one Vst on Windows that's why i'm using the
interfaces, don't wanna do it over lan, gotta buy some IP
program.

Buy a pc. You will still experience problems like this, only
on a pc you can fix them.

i have a pc, it's just that i'm trying to use both the
macbook and the pc for synced MIDI clock. I'm guessing it's
just the mac's leopard upgrade proves for unreliable
drivers.
