I have a irritating problem. I now found a workaround, but
I haven't worked out the problem yet.

In Fl Studio (8, but i tried 7 too, to no avail, I also
tried two Waldorf Attacks) I have the Waldorf plugin. I want
to control it with the Midi Out plugin of FL Studio. I've
set this up and it is working. What I did is I put the the
Midi Out and the Waldorf Attack to the same port, and I set
the channel to the channel I want to control. I want to
control the twelfth channel, the analog base of the 9000
kit.

However when I press play in FL Studio, the Midi Out sends a
reset signal so that the Env and the Vel knobs of the Filter
of the Attack are set to zero (the same thing happens when i
push the button 'reset' on the Midi Out plugin. I DON'T KNOW
WHY!

My workaround is this: I assigned Env and the Vel
(controller number 100 and 101 (though the manual says 100
and 102) to two knobs of Midi Out and set it to the right
amount (114). Now the autoreset isn't send anymore.

If anybody knows why the problem occurs however, feel free
to speak up.

to play the keyboard of the attack, and of more channels of
the attack (the upper 12 channels have a keyboard)

nah it's surely not a soundcard issue. just check everything
again. or just send me the flp.

i don't think it's the flp, i set it up numerous times

anyway here is it:
LAZY_TITLE

if i open it, it is reset already from the opening, in the
waldorf attack i have to click 'preset' and choose ROM ->
9000 kit, to reload it.
i then press stop in fl studio and the env and the vel reset
to zero

does this happen with you?

it happens withtout the midi out as well. with just Attack
loaded when you press stop in FL, the first sound with
keyboard gets its Env and Vel reset

well i found another workaround
you press stop, the knobs reset
then you hold ctrl + knob and it's set to the right amount
(if it was set to another then the standard attack amount
you should have saved it and pasted it). then in the fruity
wrapper drop down menu go to last tweaked parameter and
choose 'init the song with this position'
now you've aumated away the bug (if it's a bug)

d'oh!, one search in the flstudio technical forum for
'waldorf attack' yielded the answer:
'Open the wrapper options menu (the left one on the toolbar
at the top of the plugin window) and uncheck "Send pitch
bend range". '

also interesting:
'Hitting stop a second time sends a midi reset message'

It always have with flp. There is something you can disable
in options I am sure.

Personally I would rather just keep the killswitch tho.

ah yes, the midi reset thing with the stopbutton existed for
quite a while, i think since Fruityloops 3, quite useful as
a panic button :)
