powerful percussion all through.. i like the chill mood of the melody as well
i like the reverby ending on the drums too

I loved your last track you posted, Route something-or-other, and God knows, I'd love to listen to this one, but as luck would have it, my sound is not working. :[

me likes this too .its rarther beautiful and full on too
id love to expand on the ambientyness it finishes to quick that ambient synth sound is real nice at the end, extend that ,then come back in with the same drum patterns with more mellow kits sounds then the hardcore ones at the end.
im just back seat forum mixing whilst eating a sandwich :P
yeah, need that mellow synth sound to continue.at the end .

thanks for checkin' it, homegirl!
basically I agree it should be longer. It's just tricky to keep it fresh without the track overstaying it's welcome. In the end most of my tracks end up around 2:00-2:30, which is something I really need to work on.
Good advice all around :)

It's good!
record the organ at a lower volume, then over-compress it and boost volume to get that airy sound on top of it.
The end should degrade into a state with more and more reverb so that you couldn't separate sound from sound until suddenly, like a butterfly emerging from it's pupae, bursting out into full-fledged melodic awesomeness!

it's not so good imho reverb is shitty sounds all muddy percussion sounds are whimpy and don't sound nice at all, and even sound wrong in that it has some kind of glitch?
and you need to mix the whole thing way better and use way more eq and compression and not use the reverb like that and the composition isn't good either and i assume it's unfinished?
lol i didn't mean to sound harsh but it's just my opinion. if you really like it maybe you should get better monitoring.
not saying all this to piss you off but jus tby chance listened to it and figured you would rather have my honest opinion than none at all as in any feedback is feedback i hope.

thanks everyone for the comments :)
freqy: when i get a little more time i'll try and make an ambient loop of the ending there, maybe throw in some light shifty pads. I was indeed a little stoned when I made this, as with most of my tunes... I usually take a single nice rip and leave it at that- any more tenses me up too much.
mdv: any feedback is good feedback! and I thank you for taking the time to listen. Of course, I don't necessarily agree with all of your points- specifically I don't agree that the drums are "wimpy" ;p. Generally speaking, I suck at mastering- as do a lot of the spammers here, so I tend to let that aspect go a bit and just focus on getting the most out of the sequence. On this track I was going for more of a "mesh" of drums... I was sort of picturing a netting of drums, if that makes sense. Some people like it, some don't... can't win em all. I'm very pleased with the track though in the end.
