Hi, I'm new, yah. Everybody hates newbies, I know. But my
question is, what is soul seek? I've read about it in the
posts. I'm a nice guy; I love Aphex; be nice to me, dammit!

Thanks, Phresch!
I just signed on to soul seek for the first time--looks like
a secret napster for electronic music? :D

oh my god the chat in there is scary, I steer quite clear of
those fuckers, I see them talking there, the same people,
every time I go to download some music.

yep, i usually try to avoid any thing except the message
boxes- but sometimes you hear something that makes you wanna
tell people off, and you have to, don't you?

I'm not seeing the chat--is that because I run windows 98?
I have an old, piece-o'-junk system.

talking of scary....they have some sort of remix thing going
on there. i listened to the original and it was, really the
worst thing i've heard. to my surprise, i found out that
there was like 200 remixes of the same shitty song made by
the people chatting there.....that's fucking scary.

FKGM

(is that the correct usage of to be arsed? I'm American, not
even sure if I'm allowed to say such things))

Soulseek chats are sometimes very loony and funny. The focus
is often trying to say the most ludicrous outlandish
outrageous things possible, usually in the fewest words
possible. Like "I ate a kitten once... it tasted cute"...
