His new album has some great tracks on it, there was an
interview with him at his studio where he was talking about
the drum machines he used...

Yeah, it's totally retro but at least he's got away from
that crappy acid jazz pseudo funk nonsense.

I'm not a Jamiroquai fan but he has definitely got some
serious talent. He has his own style unlike BAD pop music

Jamiroquai kick ass. They're so funky ass'd cool and
they're loaded with swank. Thier music makes me wish I
could dance.

here's what i've been wondering
what would happen if
1) they got the returnofthespacecowboys-era band together
and started upping the funk
2) jaykay did a trak w/ the neptunes

apart from that, where's the new album, i'll still check it
even tho 'synkronized-afunkodyssey' didnt exactly make 'the
return of the space cowboy' redundant..

I think the music is great... if the singer had a better
voice I'd love them...

Sting is awesome though... Fields of Gold is such an amazing
song... and he has lots of others... I really need to get
some Sting cds... and the Police rock as well! :)

i have never heard a full length album of him, only some
singles, i liked them a few years ago, but he is making no
progress lately, and this was what i liked on him, that he
was fresh, somehow he is not fresh lately, so he sucks. THE
END

my girlfriend has a bootleg best of jamiroquai cd she picked
up while travelling round india + nepal.. complete with
really bad typos.
right from day one, id only ever heard their singles -
hearing them on the radio as & when they came out.
most sounded pretty good, but it seemed to me that they were
probably spread over all the albums, so i never bothered
buying any.
they seem like a fairly consistent band - though they dont
appear to deviate much from their seemingly successful
formula.

i knew the early tracks very well - but when i heard my
girlfriend's best of i was surprised to find that i actually
knew all of them. jamiroquai seem to be one of those band's
that's just there, in your head, without you even realising
it.
a bit like rem in that respect (though not musically,
obviously).
