i've been trying to mix the piano tracks with the drill
tracks, but i'm trying with NI traktor and my pc doesn't
have the power to do it... but i'm sure rdj meant the tracks
to be played like that, i need someone who as got the vynils
and who could try to figure out the tracks that go well with
others, i already found that gwarek goes well with
meltphace6 but i can't sync them well. it's just that if you
try it(with something like cool edit or soundforge it works
well) you'll see what i mean!:)

My idea of unleashing Drukqs power woul driving down the
road at 120mph with Mt. Saint Michel Mix+St. Michaels Mount
or such at full volume on a 2000+ watt stereo...Thats
power...

Not really...But I think you'd feel sexy with 2000 watt
stereo with aphex playing on it...

I'm not sure about trying to mix the Piano trax with other
Druqks trax...from recent comments about his liking of
placing Jungle beats under Classcial composers when DJing, I
reckon you should just try em with any beat loops you've
got...

ArchRival (I think) has tried this and says it works well;
the piano trax keep the same tempo thruout so should be
fairly easy...

Am gonna give this a try myself over easter; I'll post any
results that are interesting...

First step is to get the BPMs of the trax...fairly simple in
Cooledit, just load up the track, select a nice 8 bar loop
and get it to work out the BPM from that...then just get any
other beat loop you fancy, get it going at the same speed
(using time stretch or Pitch shift) and give it a go...(2
copies of Winamp running at the same time is idea for this
sort of mixing...or if you wanna get fancy with the mix, go
for Cool Edit Pro or Acid..)...

It's a bit more work that going with Vinyl but you can get
far tighter results...

(fuck...I'm stuck at work and I soooo wanna try this
out...).. :(..

Yeah, if that would make me a part of windowlicker video
environment, then I guess you're right. Weird kinda sex...
But so much sexier for it.

i know but with my super-pc cool edit is sooooooo
slooooooooow for the time stretch/pitch shift( with long
songs i can go for 10+ min...), but i forgot the two winamp
thing, i'm going to try, any idea how to sync them besides
clicking really fast?

How about trying some of the pitch shift/Tempo add-ons for
Winamp?... there are quite a few that let you do what you
need without having to use Cooledit etc...

Yeah I made tons of mixes with classical music and
breakbeats/dnb/hip hop beats.

Some dope aphex mixes too :)

The songs on drukqs is definitly not made to be mixed with
togheter tho.

Try some new beats insted, chop them good ol breakbeats up
nah mean.
