Hi everyone,
Well, I've been working on a live set in Ableton of my last
album Reign Vent recently and finally got round to
recording 30 minutes of it so far tonight. The set so far
contains Hidden Chasm (00:01), Frnak (7:00) and Indok
Science (12:30), aswell as some "unreleased" material.
Excuse some small cock ups and CPU grunts in places, Live 7
is buggy at the moment apparently and the set needs some
work to make the work a little easier for my laptop.
Anyway, hope you all enjoy it:
REIGN VENT live (19/1/2008)
Thanks,

Pahahahaha there's NO reaktor at all:

Dell Inspiron 6400
Ableton Live 7 (hence CPU glitches - it's a little buggy at
the moment)
Elektron Machinedrum (provides most drums)
microKorg
Numark EM-260 (Kaoss Pad mixer)

so how did you make those variations on the drums and the
glitches - all on the machinedrum ?

Ableton Live sequences the Machinedrum. There's some extra
layers of drums that are Ableton only, but most of the drums
are MD. If you give me some times in the set I can tell you.

whoops - i was sure that the drum track in the first track
evolves but it doesn't. case closed i guess :P

4:32 the hihat in the back is like granulized or something.
what is that ??

man that first track is awesome.

Yeah, that hihat is a loop on ableton going thru "Beat
Repeat" with the stutter rate set high. I'm just tweaking
the chance that the repeat is triggered.

Thanks for listening, the original track is called
Hidden Chasm
