DEATH

Aren't you glad that there's death? Ahhh, what an absolute
relief! Thanks god (and by god I mean some sort of metaphor
for a big gay universal algorithm)!

You just know that intelligence will ruin this like so many
other things. Pretty soon they will be able to molecularly
scan a 'criminal' and sentence him to, say, 10,000 years of
torture. Every time the torture kills him they just
reassemble him as he was before he died. And of course this
technology will fall into the hands of a corrupt tyranny.
There will be like 5 elite people living on top controlling
everything, with all their slaves doing anything they want
lest they be tortured by any degree or duration by other
slaves who also get tortured if they don't do the
torturing.

The future is going to be so awesome. We should somehow open
a portal to it and send nuclear warheads there. I wouldn't
even be too scared about their capability of returning the
attack due to increasing incompetance and devolution.
Besides if they did return the attack, that would be a good
thing too.

Oh, new years hasn't happened yet. I didn't even piece
together that its tonight until about 11pm because some
presumably happy jerk out there set off some fireworks.
Cunt. I was playing internet spades at the time and
continued to play indifferently when I heard them. By the
way I played internet spades like 57 hours today, even
taking into account that there are only 24 hours in a
typical day. And what is the shining ray of hope?- that life
could easily be much worse.

i do find it quite comforting.

it doesn't really matter what happens because you always
know that one day you're going to be dead

You don't die though. Only the ego dies. The rest of your
atoms are re-assembled when your corpse starts to rot in the
ground.

Happy new year!

Thought provoking. This is why I can't communicate in
the real world in real time. I need the brain augmentations
of dictionary.com and wikipedia or I might say something
like 'can you please provoke me the spaghetti?.. what
doesn't provoke mean pass?' plus I need a medium of
communication that retains its own memory instead of audio
that gets erased as soon as it is spoken.

Hypothetically, if you were an insane person, would you
necessarily know you were insane? I might be an insane
person, or maybe you are.

insanity (as defined by me. comparable to collins '86) is
unwavering delusion despite being proven wrong over and
over. insanity is often faith in something impossible, like
that of having faith in the whole of man changing from what
they are and into something that you believe that you could
be. insanity is freedom. it's being a child, living in the
moment. insanity is raw and honest.

i think we've all got that part of us that just wants to let
go and stop thinking. just being. not having to think before
we speak. not having shame or secrets.

fuck i'm kind of selling the idea to myself now

Unless it's something you can prove or disprove with
mathematical evidence you can claim anything, if the society
you live in agrees with you, you're not insane in people's
eyes, I look at fashion as an example of this and how trends
are set. Also even with mathematical evidence there's still
people that will not agree and continue to think what they
want to believe, sometimes the majority is wrong.

yes indeed as oscar wilde says

'To disagree with three-fourths of the British public is one
of the first requisites of sanity.'

death is an illusion, we simply reconfigure into different
states. one life becomes another, in a very literal way. it
happens so gradually, we don't even notice most of the
time.

every time you eat, get your hair cut, trim your nails... or
on a more obvious scale, when you have a child, or when your
body in buried..

A former coworker's babe died today. He was only 1y old. He
(my coworker) had moved to Ohio and was going to be a house
dad while his wife (a doctor) provided the funds. She had
taken the babe to her work (a hospital) and had the babe in
the daycare. They both went to pick up the child to find it
"sleeping" on the floor.
Good thing my coworker will die so he wont have to live with
this misery forever huh....
Death can be fucked up
Death is a double edged sword.
