on xltronic ? i remember zeus or someone posting 3 superb
sonatas he wrote for some classes at school or something
like that.

they were made ona a computer so the sound was bad but i
rember the sonatas themself to be just great.

someone remember who did them and if they are finished ?

yep, it was zeus... i'm pretty sure when he posted them he
considered them finished and didn't plan on working on them
further.

i thought that he was meant to give it to some live piano
player who would play it again because it was made with
samples ?

Twas me.

The live player was an absolute nightmare.

The first one I had, just did NOT practice. Every time we
met up, for me to see how she was progressing, it was she
was (badly) sight reading.

So I fired her, and found someone else, last minute (I
needed to record it to graduate). This player was better,
and practiced, but still not all that good. I ended up
recording hundreds of small takes, and having to do over 200
edits (per movement) just to get it to sound decent. It was
EXTREMELY frustrating. It all worked out, and I graduated,
but I certainly won't be sharing the recordings, as they are
just... blah.

I began to do a version using NI's Acoustik Piano plugin,
but didn't get to finish before I left (and I don't own the
program) :(

I WOULD like to make better versions... but that isn't
happening anytime soon... I'm sorry :(

Pyractomena Borealis. Follow the link posted by
thecurbcreeper.
It's outstanding, even better than sadist's recent set :)

Exactly that. Probably some of the best music i've ever
heard from the board.
