Well---remember that it's certain Western interpretations who are considering it the 'End Of The World'. To the Mayans, it's the end of one age, and the beginning of another--it's not nearly so Destructive as fear-mongers would have you believe.
Don't forget that the magnetic poles are due to reverse any time now (relatively speaking)! They are overdue! That worries me more.

yeah, man, pain sucks, but think about how actually kind of amazing it is that we're living in this time, the end of the world, as we know it, you know?
the world is already changing, its already going on, its not gonna be some nuclear holocaust, that is, unless we dont fire those fuckers first, i dont know, i hope thats not the case.

Did you hear about something coming along and UPGRADING our DNA?
to 3 strands?
that would be insane, we'd be like 4-dimensional and telepathic or something, totally mutated.

I would not be so worried about if the prophecy is true or not, I would rather be afraid of too many people believing it and in the end makes it happen because of it.

thanks for bringing up the magnetic pole reversal thing. it use to scare the shit out of me when i was a kid. I honestly thought George Dubya would be the bringer of the apocalypse. Maybe all of the bullshit he sets in motion, and Hillary Clinton in office, it will very well be the end of the world as we know it.

dave_g - no, the millenium bug just lingered with the rest, but this has been talked about for years in different ways by many different cultures and seems a promonant "one" theres somthing eerie about it, but anyhow as marlowe says, it is western fear mongering, most religions and cultures say there will be enlightenment and change, not necisaraly the end even if anything will happen, westerners have just jumpe on the band wagon and liked it with our over due pole shift, i know this is a contradiction to my blog haha, a fcking massive one but i just get all worked up, and fuck it oxygenfad is write if it does it does...
...though x-tomatic, youve been waiting for decades of you LIFE for the apocalypse?

nothing to worry about
nothing will happen
it's all bullshit
we all live in a fantasy world in our heads which never amounts to anything other than killing and war and rape and exploitation
life is a constant roller coaster of bullshit. constant meaningless pointless shit after crappy bullshit shit
mankind is a fucking disgrace and the music we like is the only truly great thing to come from it

''i realise now that ones sentiments are entirely chemical''
if you think that's a smart thing to say, please do think again.
even if it was true, how would it change the significance of ones sentiments? it's all relative.

i mean, if everything we do is a purely chemical process, why would you even care about arguing that our 'love' for music is so special?

At present, the overall geomagnetic field is becoming weaker at a rate which would, if it continues, cause the dipole field to temporarily collapse by 3000–4000 AD. The South Atlantic Anomaly is believed by some to be a product of this. The present strong deterioration corresponds to a 10–15% decline over the last 150 years and has accelerated in the past several years; however, geomagnetic intensity has declined almost continuously from a maximum 35% above the modern value achieved approximately 2000 years ago. The rate of decrease and the current strength are within the normal range of variation, as shown by the record of past magnetic fields recorded in rocks.

my severity / sincerity is relative to how i feel based on the chemicals being pumped into my system
in that moment i was sincere
i can guarantee that within the next 24 hours i'll be back there again.
mr j198 you grabbed the wrong end of my stick
if chemicals are and always have been the deepest thing to have existed then that makes them no less important. science can just as easily be observed as mystic wizardry
