How? The wheels on the plane aren't what cause the movement. The propellors drag the plane forward in the air...the wheels are just to reduce friction, in theory even if the conveyor belt was powered the plane would still move foward and the wheels would just spin a little quicker. |

Haha, the propeller gives the plane speed which allows the air to flow around the wings and cause the pressure under them to rise and therefore lift the plane upwards. What do you think the wings are for? A fucking ornament? It will not move an inch in the air. Well, maybe if it hits a bump or something. |

have you.... ever.... seen a plane? they often do full throttle to test engines with wheel brakes on before lift off.... do they lift up while doing this? no. because the wind from the propellers does not affect the whole wing, only parts of it... what happens if a plane is in mid air, full throttle, and does not move forward? it falls down. stall. plane =/= helicopter. |

Of course assuming that the friction on the bearings of the wheels is zero, but even if it was really big the plane would probably skid and fly anyway. I give myself to the gallows. |
