There must be some stories out there about being scared
suddenly or confused. Anything?

Mine would be listening to VI Scose Poise and suddenly being
frightened by it for some odd reason. That was at night
while I was laying on my bed in the dark. I had to turn the
song off.

Autechre scares the shit out of me CONSTANTLY. I think
they're quickly becoming my favorite artists. Blows me away,
I love them more every time I hear them... and they never
fail to fuck with my head. But I never turn them off, no
matter how freaked out I am...

I can't think of any particular music that scares me - but
when I chuck a cd in and the volume is up load, it makes me
jump!!

Listening to the butthole surfers' "22 going on 23" made me
immediately vomit once. I'm sure the beer didn't help
either. I can't listen to that song now without getting
queasy.

On acid, listening to Slo Burn, I could SEE THE RIFFS COMING

MY HEAD AND GROWING FACES!!!

I was listenning to "In My Time of Dying" by Led Zeppelin
once as I fell asleep and for about ten minutes I entered
into some sort of strange zone; like an astral
transposition or something. I tried to repeat it many times
and I couldn't get it to happen again.

My worst experience with music was about 8 years ago. I was
having sex and the CD that was on started to skip. It
totaly threw my concentration and ruined the experience. I
never saw that girl again.

i totally dig scarry music, and i think the most insane is
merzbow and massonna (and other jap. noise artists), but i
feel that there is a certian beauty behind the pure
randomness...it's chaos theroy expressed musically. I can
understand if ppl here don't dig it (it really takes a
diffrent bread to enjoy this type of music). As far as
having a unhappy experiance, i think it's when i get a cd by
an artist that's suposed to be fucking bad ass, and it lets
me down...

I was hooked on Merzbow quite a bit not too long ago and
dled a fair amount of his work. The problem being it all
starts sounding the same really. And my stumach turned when
I heard about the Merzbox coming out. That's his 50+ cd box
set priced at a wallet-swollowing $500

posters/t-shirts...If it was me who bout it, i would have
copied the cd's, then sold it back on ebay for a killin!

everything on Ebay.
