Autechre's music is somewhat a paradox within the sphere of the "music" itself. It is sufficient in the form it is created (yes, even Draft 7.30), yet demands the audience fills the gaps within the repetitious music with their own minds; their own imaginations. The convoluted yet immensely subtle variations that concur within a fractured second of the triangulated system of an Autechre piece can only be imagined by aliens from another world; or indeed, gods themselves-for Autechre's music is so immensely revelatory that mere human minds cannot grasp the spiritual and mathematically complex hidden meanings hidden therin. Autechre put on a front of being ex-graffiti kids who made music "by accident" and who have "no musical backround"-indeed, such nonsense is a front for the increadable intelligence that they have put into their music. The truth is, they are mathematicians and are classically trained to the highest degree; their music is full of neo-classical references and mathematical gems that only the brightest of minds could understand. They are gods, and their music is a reflection of our own conciousness flucctuating through remote systems, bypassed into infinate tranquility whilst being shot into the outer realms of the universe, into the transparent void of absolute zero.

Deepness is no subsititute for musical enjoyment, pure and simple, although I see what your saying.
Ulysses by James Joyce is "deep" but there's no way I could read the whole thing, sometimes you just have to trust your instincts.

The Key To Understand André Rieu's Music (Includes Great Philosophy, Science and Art of Writing)
André Rieu is the almighty God of the Magical Universe of that Great Art that is Music. He creates a multipolar new dimension of Sound and Harmony into the five-dimensional extra-spheres of Revelating Romantism to the people of the world. The immense and complex artefacts of André Rieu's Music, as well as his Godly Smile and Mighty Friendly Attitude, elevates Him undoubtedly to the rank of Music Divinity. His Music cannot be appreciated enough by mere humans, and only the gifted ones can hope to approach a tiny part of his Grand Masterpieces's Celestial Beauty and Complexity. The Truth is, André Rieu is deep in everyone's and everything's heart, and people should search deeply for the Truth and the God in themselves, then find the Pure Beauty, Imagination, Intelligence and Love of André Rieu. Every time you Imagine something Good, this Good is André Rieu, for André Rieu is the incarnation of Romantism and Goodness and Creation. Every time you Love someone or somebody, that something or somebody is an incarnation of André Rieu. Every time you Masturbate, André Rieu is the Grand Wankshot created by that Great Physical Love of Yourself and it is Beautiful and Good. André Rieu is Salvation. André Rieu is Love. André Rieu The Greatest Thing Of The Universe, and that thing is Romantism. We will all access to André Rieu's Romantic Paradise once we find out the Great Truth and Revelation Of The Universe. All Hail André Rieu!!!

What are these hidden messages, if they're so fucking interesting why are they hidden? I never understand what's the point of references, like with BOC, if you listen to it upside down and back to front it gives one of the names of someone that knew someone in the Waco massacre. Oh right, so by it being hidden, this now takes on extra significance does it? Rather than just saying it, which would have been, what? I mean, what, if you haven't anything interesting to say, stapling on some fucking "references" doesn't make you interesting. And if you forgot how to write tunes, Autechre, I'd suggest giving up the fucking music lark. Honestly, these people.

I'm sorry you don't understand why I put hidden messages in my music.
Alas, the world of art never learns. You know, all the great composers of times gone past where thought of as bad in their day; only now are they truly appreciated for their fabulous achievements.

so, that being said, while I think Autechre have recorded some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard, I will also be the first to say they've recorded a lot of shit too... but I guess with a group like Autechre that tried to push the boundries of sound, that's expected...
