of you who like this album i highly recommend tod
dockstader's 'aerial' if you haven't heard it yet!

i'd like to get this but i've concluded i have to stop
spending so much money on cds

well, im not sure really. haven't listened to the first one
in a long long time..and i think i only listened to it once.
but my impression is that this one is by far more
minimalistic...if no one gives you a proper answer, i'll
give it a listen when i get home and let you know
afterwards!

haha hey thanks! :)

i think with the minimalistic part you may have answered my
question anyway.

when the first one came out i didn't know what to expect (i
wasn't familiar with the hafler trio) and at first was a bit
dissapointed by the minimalism of it all. after giving it
some time it grew on me immensly and is one of my favorite
records. so now perhaps the second one will satisfy what i
was originally looking for...

Yeah I got this a couple of weeks back, listened to it a
couple of times and yeah it's nice in places.

I actually preferred the first disk because of one really
mental 5 minute stretch.

It's a bit too leftfooted for everyone else i know so im
glad I have someone to talk to about it.

i was surprised there were still copies available, since
it's a very limited release apperantly..
both discs have some fantastic moments, but the second one
wins it for me because of the long dark part in the last
third..

any idea if that info about 1000 copies is correct? hard to
imagine it's still not sold out if that's true..

Yeah I thought I was gonna struggle to get a cut....Boomkat
have a habit of telling you that it's in stock then saying
you can't have it a few days later.

Warpmart says "it's limited to 500 copies worldwide of which
we have as many as we could get, so be quick!"

I think it was quite a low key release, I didn't see any
hype for it, and infact didn't notice it until it had been
out over a week.

Im playing the second disk again now, I think it's gonna be
a grower!

yeah, it was mentioned very few times..even when you make a
search in google..odd

and it's definitely a grower..you hear something new to it
each time you put it on.

"Boomkat have a habit of telling you that it's in stock then

heh, just got an email saying they dispatched my order. out
of 3 albums (they had on stock) they sent out 1 and left the
other 2 on backorder..

what sort of pressings do most idm cds get? 'cause i'm
pretty accustomed to runs of 500 and 1000 these days... none
of the hafler shit will sell out quickly because he puts out
so much...
