Why was it shut down anyway??? I didn't read anything worth
shutting down there...

no that was not the intention..I was just a bit
bewildered..and then the browser hung on me..now I have two
threads for the same subject..with halves of messages.....

I expect to be banned as well..

sorry mods..phobia..

I thought it was w M w getting a little troll happy or
something! ;)

That's because I made a message with 21,374 blank spaces, in
order to find out if the board rejects too many spaces or
too many characters (I think it does not count new
paragraphs (enter))

Aha, it must have been deleted, as I haven't seen it...

Oh well, madness is a nice thing I guess...

Yeah, Phobz delled that mass blankness message aswell... So
you can't tell why that thread was closed by looking at it
now.

You guys are idle this morning/ afternoon/ late night,
aren't you???

Anyone has the new DJ Krush? Any thoughts on it?

we'll make up for it by posting an amount of useless bulk
discussing it here that will be equal in size to it. It's
ok, as long as it's in small chunks.
You can't drink alligators though, so why the hell is there
an alligator in a glass??

enter, then a few spaces, then enter etc. eventually there
were too many spaces... but you can press enter... AS MUCH
AS YOU WANT! HA HA HA HA HA!!

is shinso his new one?
i have that one, but i kind of prefer zen
tho everything ke makes is really good

My pants are fine, thankyouverymuch and no fire in
vicinity.

Flea: Deckwrecka? I'll have to seek hi out. No, Krush is on
Sony, he's sold his soul to the soulless major label once
Mo' Wx people told him that his new stuff is "too minimal".
The new album would appeal to youz guys who love bitcrushing
and rich soundz..

Yes, shinso- the message at the depth. You prefer Zen??
Really?? I like zen, but this one's more varied and stronger
IMO. The Anticon track is well worth the fee alone...

to tell you the truth i got shinso about a month ago-i only
listened to it then, perhaps once or twice so far
will have to check it more thoroughly
its just that i bought so many great albums after that one
that i just didnt have time to focus on shinso hehe

hmm..I like whatever Krush I heard..but his stuff was
starting to getall polished like..not that I minded..so Sony
was a logical leap..

Deckwrecka..nice tunes..I am totally sold because of the
samples from Lone Wolf and Cub movies..my favourite ever
comic/manga..but he has some mad turntablist skills...

all music

though I have no idea why they labelled it..gangsta rap..

It's called Shinso - The message at the depth. Not all of it
was made using advanced harddisk techniques, tho, it's very
varied and his collaborations are great as ever.

not heard shinso, (u? whozzit like? - more Zen like or more
early dirty beats?)

you heard dj spooky's optometry?

Haven't heard optometry but it's supposed to be really
complex (he used live instruments as far as I recall and
then harddisked them around)

No, Shinso is a total departure from Zen, it's bigger,
louder, messier and better.

offline korben dallas from nz on 2002-11-26 06:08 [#00456796]

sounds good .. yeah Zen was too clean for my liking, dunno
didn't go down well.

only had a listen to optometry briefly on a listening post,
and really liked some of what i heard, but wasn't entirely
convinced, but i will definetly have another listen.
