My trip in Ireland finished and now I'm in Italy and very busy.
Here a summary about what we did in Ireland/Dublin with our impressions (me and my gf)
We stayed in the lovely Egans Guest House in Iona Park (near Drumcondra street) for 8 days.
The weather was awful, very awful, I couldn't belive to my eyes, everyday sky was gray.
The drive on the left wasn't a problem, with our Toyota Yaris we covered 980miles (1568 km), we visited glendalough, wicklow (nice beach and golf's fields there), then Kilkenny, the beautiful Cliffs of Moher (I drived for about 10 hours and 620miles (992 km) in just one day, then castle of Cahir and castel of Casher, then Botanic Garden in Dublin, we visited beautiful beach of Malahide, we visited Drogheda, the castle of Trim and the castle of Malahide (beautiful rugby's fields there), etc...
In Dublin we visited the Guinness Storehouse and Old Jameson Distillery (but also the Castle, St.Patrick Cathedral and the Church).
Dublin was a very busy and chaotic city, viability is not very good imo. A lot of problems to find the right way, streets and places.
Everynight we were in temple bar and especially in the temple bar pub.
we drunk tons of Guinness (very very good), some Kilkenny, some Smitchwick, some Irish Whiskey (Jameson and Paddy) and the lovely Irish coffee.
The food is pretty good (salmon, potatoes, strawberries, steaks are wonderfuls)
Anyway you eat too fat my irish friends, the full irish breakfast (everyday) is a killer for stomach and liver, then too much butter, french fries, etc...
Now I'm missing the original Guinness very much, it best beer i never tasted! (first of this holiday i didn't like guinness)
\/\/.

The problem is that people think that Guinness is good when actually it is the worst stout i have ever had. Well actually the #2 worst besides that Oatmeal Stout

when i were in wicklow i thought to you, very pretty city. i ate an icecream near an internet point, then i visited the beach near the golf's fields. i made some photo too.
i see ireland is full of big black birds (similiar to crows) and ppl enjoy to kill them by car... it's not very fair imo.

I'm glad you had a nice time in Ireland, it is a great place, in my limited experience.
Did you find driving the Yaris ok? I used to drive one and the clutch was awful, it would stall at the slightest provocation. And it wasn't just me as it would happen to my Dad too. Just... wondering.

ive never made it to the temple bar any time i've been over. i've heard its famous or something, but i was satying at my cousins place in meath. i remember years ago going into this pub near navan, where one half was yellow, and the other green, and to take a piss you had to go upstairs through someones bloody living room. by my 20th pint, i asked why it was 3am and the pub was still full. turns out that the owner was the chief of police!!! crazy place.
