hello i have a wmv file of my band playing live, and it needs some serious EQing... and i'd also like to chop it up song by song and re-encode it smaller so i can put it on youtube... can anyone recommend a program that i can do that on? |

i usually just put my cat in a box with the keyboard should do the trick if you've got a cat or two dogs do artsy type stuff if you're thinking of being adventurous |

why is it in wmv format? who did you get it off? get the orignal tape (minidv or whatever and re capture it to dv avi and use vegas or premiere if you want ease of use...id use adobe after effects personally but it would take a little while longer to get used too. Premeire is very easy. as for the frEQing i would drop it into Nuendo and eq from there..( or seperate - export the audio out and use cubase or whatever ..eq..then re import it back into your video package. ..eqs on cheapo video editing software. are usually cheapo sounding. as for the youtube format what is that again?? i heard sony vegas can export it. later versions of adobe may be able to ...im still using 5.5 afx and mine doesnt ..thats all i remember have you any of these progs? would you like a liddle or aldi invite?...... only kiddin good luck |

i actually managed to do all i needed to do in SoundForge of all programs... i didn't expect that... fuck where did the last 5 hours go? working with video suuuucks! |

working with anything sucks if you don't know what you're doing. i've been trying to teach myself Pro Tools and its a little slow going. |
